Bridal Shower for Bethany

It was so nice to open our home for the first "event" we've hosted since moving last June. Friends and family contributed to make it very special...many coming a long ways to attend. I didn't take any pictures during the shower, unfortunately, so I just snapped a shot later of a few fun remnants. Congratulations Bethany!!

Katie is definitely in the cruising stage. She gets around on all fours pretty fast these days...even up the stairs. Time to get a gate!

Awards dinner

A special awards dinner was held in La Jolla last month for the Smith & Nephew sales territory that Jonas works for. It was a very fun time with new and old friends. We are so blessed to be a part of this team!

Jane Austen Ball

Somehow I've managed to get Jonas to the annual Jane Austen ball in Pasadena several years in a row. It's a fun tradition we share with my parents, my sister and her husband.

Katelyn at 9 months

Once again, Tracy Dodson, our amazing photographer and friend, has captured Katie perfectly...especially the one where my little "Daddy's girl" is snuggling up against his scrubs and munching on his Blackberry...her favorite toy. The serious pictures are from before Jonas got home...the smiles came after!

Big Bear Family Trip

We got away one night with the older kids up the mountains to Northwoods Resort in Big Bear. What a fun trip! Other than Emma slipping by the pool and cutting her eyelid (which has healed quite nicely), we had a blast sledding and playing in the snow/melted ice.
