I caught our littlest sweetie grinning and cooing on camera...isn't she adorable?

Katelyn's Baby Shower
My mom and sisters put on a lovely "sprinkle" for Katelyn and I over Memorial Day weekend. It was so nice to see friends and family in Corona who have celebrated the birth of each of our children over the years.
Family Outing
Jonas suggested we take the kids to Mulligan's a couple weeks ago. It's a local place with miniature golf, batting cages, an arcade, etc.

Emma celebrates her upcoming birthday
Instead of having a birthday party with several friends, Emma opted to invite her best friend, Lauren Bailey, over for a sleepover. We took them to Souplantation for dinner (birthday girl's request), rented a movie, had a happy meal lunch at McDonald's and ended the time at Toys R' Us where they each picked out a toy.
Katelyn at 6 weeks
Katie's weight is about 7 lbs. 5 oz. at this point and she is no longer on the "preemie" schedule of 10 meals per day :). She's a very sweet, easygoing baby...the classic third child who quickly learns to go with the flow!

Katelyn at one month
We were a little concerned when Katie dropped from 5.9 to 5.2 oz. after a week or so. By one month she was in the six lb. range which was a relief.

Story time
I found Emma reading to Caleb and Cole (our 3-year-old neighbor who is a dear friend) the other day and took a picture because it was so cute! I must add that Emma's audience was less than attentive. I believe the boys had a combined attention span of about one minute! But Emma persevered...
Katelyn Elizabeth's arrival

Katelyn was born on March 28th at 10:49 a.m., weighing 5 lbs. 9 oz., 17 1/2 inches long. Labor was short and smooth. She is such a sweet, tiny blessing from the Lord!
Easter
The kids had fun decorating Easter eggs with Grandma Jo Anne and Poppa at our house. On Easter Sunday, my side of the family joined us for the celebration of Christ's resurrection. Jonas and I teach the K/1st grade class at church so I've also included a pic of our lesson and Emma with her beloved teacher, Mrs. Mueller, who teaches the hour before us.
Caleb's Spring T-ball
Caleb is a good little slugger but found there was too much down time on the field to hold his interest. He's eager to play as well as his older cousin David!
